The state government is set to have a big and historic celebration in Jharkhand as it prepares to celebrate its 25th Foundation Day on November 15, 2025. The 25th anniversary of the formation of Jharkhand is bound to be not only the beginning of two and a half decades of development of the state but also a second era of growth, prospects, and job creation.

Official sources indicate that the milestone event is underway, which is going to include issuing 10,000 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates in different government departments. The benefits of this massive recruitment exercise are to increase jobs among the young people and enhance important sectors of the economy like education, health, and technical services.

The Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed the officials to make sure that the event demonstrates the progress and development of the state since its inception in 2000. One of the issues to be unveiled by the government in the ceremony is the new welfare and infrastructure initiatives in the country, which will underpin the inclusive development and the enhancement of governance.

Ranchi will be the centre of the main event, with parallel programs being organized in all the districts to allow maximum participation. The state government will also open new engineering colleges in such districts as Bokaro and Godda, along with the distribution of the appointment letters. Other departments to provide new projects and programs during the celebration are Higher and Technical Education, Health, Urban Development, and Tourism.

The officials have mentioned that the 25th Foundation Day will be marked as a festival of progress, work and empowerment. Not only will this milestone year help Jharkhand to celebrate the rich cultural identity of this state, but it will also be a new step of opportunity for the youth, a senior government official said.

It was formed on November 15, 2000, by carving out Bihar, the day on which the people of Jharkhand celebrate the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda, whose legacy is still a source of inspiration to the people. The day is celebrated every year to remember his works and the development of the state.

The celebrations commemorating the 25th Foundation Day are bound to strengthen the vision of creating a self-sufficient Jharkhand by the government with its emphasis on job creation, education, and industrial development. The mass delivery of appointment letters is one of the achievements of the work of the administration to empower the young people and enhance the workforce.

The state is now 25 years old, and Jharkhand is gearing up to celebrate its success and to live in a future that is characterized by opportunity and development and pride.
