Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, Vivo V21 5G was launched on April 29 in India and was globally announced earlier this week besides the regular Vivo V21 and Vivo V21e. Being the successor to the Vivo V20 that was launched in October last year in the country, the Vivo V21 5G comes with interesting features such as triple rear cameras, 44-megapixel selfie camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-LED selfie flash, already installed AI Extreme Night, Spotlight Selfie and Eye Autofocus Selfie.

The structure and design of the phone are well suitable for many users as it comes in Arctic White, Dusk Blue, and Sunset Dazzle colors. The pre-bookings began on April 29 only with its sale starting from May 6. For the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the price of Vivo V21 5G in India has been decided at Rs. 29,990, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model has been set at Rs. 32,990.

If you are planning to purchase, then it will be available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart and an online store named Vivo India, comprising large-scale offline stores and retail chains, namely Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Poorvika, Sangeetha Mobiles, Big C, and many others.

With the recent launch, Vivo V21 5G provides an Rs. 2,000 instant cashback via HDFC Bank, Rs. 3,000 worth of additional exchange discount, and no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months if someone does an online purchase. The customers who plan to purchase offline can also take the opportunity of 10 percent cashback via HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, up to 10 percent cash back on EMI purchases via Bajaj Finserv, and zero down payment via Home Credit and TVS Credit. They will also receive a Vivo Upgrade offer which will consist of a Rs 1,500 exchange bonus and an Rs 800 loyalty bonus, including up to 80 percent assured buyback guarantee.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V21 5G operates on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1 on top and has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,404 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. There is also an Extended RAM feature that is set to permit the hardware to use up to 3GB of ROM as virtual RAM for an improved multitasking act. The triple rear camera setup comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, coupled with an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter for photos and videos. The rear camera is also connected with an LED flash module backed with an OIS (optical image stabilization).

When it comes to selfies and video chats, the Vivo V21 5G has a 44-megapixel camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens that contains OIS. The front-facing camera is also connected with the dual-LED selfie flash.

Vivo has offered a 4,000mAh battery that backs 33W FlashCharge fast charging. Apart from that, the phone measures 159.68×73.90×7.29mm and weighs 176 grams.

The Vivo V21 5G consists of 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage alternates that both lead expansion via microSD card through a specific slot. Connectivity options comprise 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard contain an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a sensor which is near. Additionally, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
