BSRTC bus service with Hindi signage, announcing new bookings from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana to Bihar starting September 1.

Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has come out with a big relief to people travelling to Bihar in the forthcoming festival season. With effect from 1st September, booking of special interstate buses through the online facility will be made available, so that passengers would have an opportunity to book their tickets in advance at least 2 days earlier, especially those travelling in and out of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and other states.

Such special bus services will run from September 20 to November 30, when major festivals like Navratri and Dussehra, Diwali, etc. occur. During these months, several lakhs of migrants come back to their houses so that they can be welcomed by their families, and reservations in the trains can be a problem to fight because of high demand. The BSRTC decision will relieve the travel rush and ensure safe and affordable journeys for thousands of people.

The buses will ferry passengers with key departures, and trips will be made in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, and Lucknow and will have a direct connection to major destinations in Bihar like Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Purnia, Darbhanga, and Bhagalpur. Kolkata and Siliguri services will also be offered, giving connectivity to the eastern and northern sides of the state.

BSRTC has facilitated online booking on the official website to ease the task. Depending on the budget and preferences, passengers can take either AC or non-AC coaches, of which there is a wide range of choice. The availability of online booking is quite important, especially since this dispels long queues at booking caskets and creates extreme clarity in ticketing.

The Bihar government has gone ahead to ensure that there is increased transport capacity in general during the festive season. According to the plan, approximately 299 interstate buses will be commissioned, which are able to transport approximately 6,000 passengers a day. This project has been embarked upon with a strong commitment by the state to ensure that the season travels are less bumpy and more organized, and also far-reaching.

Authorities emphasized that not only will the visitors be relieved, but also the overcrowding of the railway stations will be regulated, as well as the reliance on the expensive individual organizations. Since roadways are a lifeline to the migrant population of Bihar, this is being considered as an opportune measure to contain the rush.

With the onset of the festive period, the action by BSRTC has been largely appreciated by the passengers who had been desperately seeking urban relief in terms of low-cost travel and reliable services. As early as September 1, booking can be done; therefore, it is always a good idea to book in advance and not to have inconveniences on the last-minute rush back home.
