Ravichandran Ashwin family members tested positive for Covid-19. Ravichandran Ashwin has decided to take a break from IPL. His family is fighting Corona virus and at such times Ashwin has decided to stay with the family.

Delhi Capitals spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has decided to withdraw from the Indian Premier League (2021). Ashwin has decided to live with his family who are currently suffering from Covid-19 infection.

Ashwin played the match against Hyderabad held in Chennai on Sunday and after that announced, he is withdrawing from the current IPL season on Twitter. Ashwin is from Chennai. Ashwin tweeted “I would be taking a break from this years IPL from tomorrow. My family and extended family are putting up a fight against #COVID19 and I want to support them during these tough times. I expect to return to play if things go in the right direction. Thank you @DelhiCapitals ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™”
