Five held for molesting woman on train |

| Ghaziabad: Five men were arrested here today for molesting a woman on Ranikhet Express train, officials said.
Babita boarded the general compartment of the train at the New Delhi railway station along with her husband and two children late on Saturday night to go to Rampur in Uttar Pradesh.
Five men, said to be drunk, also boarded the train and sat opposite the woman, an official of the General Railway Police (GRP) said.
The five men began teasing and molesting Babita. She and her husband resisted their attempts and other people in the compartment came to their help and overpowered the five men, who were handed over to the GRP when the train stopped at the Ghaziabad railway station.
"On the complaint of Deepak, a resident of Rampur, the five men have been booked," circle officer, GRP Ghaziabad, Hemant Mishra said. (IANS) |
