A two-and-a-half-year-old-boy booked for power theft in Kanpur |

| Kanpur: In one of the most bizarre of cases, Kanpur Electricity Supply Company Limited (Kesco) has booked a two-and-a-half-year-old boy for power theft in Kanpur. Bajariya police have also lodged an FIR against the toddler, who is actually a native of Rae Bareli.
The boy had been staying at his grandparents' house in Colonelganj in February and ti was during that period that he was 'found guilty' of power theft.
The family of the toddler is shocked to discover such a goof up and the members will now resort to legal steps to counter the case. |
