Fire destroys property in Punjab town |

| Mohali (Punjab), Aug 17: Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed today when a fire enveloped a multi-storey building in Mohali city in Punjab, police said. No casualty was reported.
Twelve fire engines took over four hours to put out the blaze, police officer Kulbhushan Singh told media. An electrical short-circuit is believed to have caused the fire.
Mohali town is around 10 km from Chandigarh. (IANS) |
