Three suspects arrested in Mumbai with radioactive material |

| Mumbai: Police have arrested three suspected people today with 5 kg of suspected radioactive material in Navi Mumbai (Panvel).
The Navi Mumbai Crime Branch has sent the seized nuclear material to the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre for inspection.
Police officials have remarked the three suspects were carrying Yellowcake with them, which is one of the important ingredients for preparing uranium for the nuclear fuel. Nothing has been reported so far unless the researchers of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre confirm the severity of the seized package. (IANS) |
