Mumbai: It was Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani's turn to face the wrath of Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray as he attacked industrialist Mukesh Ambani over his recent remark that Mumbai is for all Indians.

While taking on Ambani in an article published in Sena mouthpiece 'Saamana', Thackeray added that Marathi manoos (people) have as much right over Mumbai as Mukesh Ambani has over his Reliance companies. He also gave a rather strong suggestion to Ambani to not to meddle in the affairs of the Marathis.

Asserting that Mumbai is Maharashtra's capital and will remain the same, he further pointed out why Mukesh Ambani did not mention other cities like Ahmedabad, Jamnagar and Rajkot when talking about Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi belonging to all Indians.

Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, had recently expressed his view about Maharashtra government's decision on making knowledge of Marathi mandatory for issuing taxi permits in Mumbai. He had explained this issue as 'unfortunate' and asserted that we are all Indians first and then a Mumbaikar.
