Mumbai: On Monday night, several MNS activists allegedly beat up few pilgrims who were sleeping outside the celebrated Siddhivinayak temple, located in Central Mumbai.

But, MNS has completely denied their connection with any such activities. They said that their workers and activists were not involved with the incident. Atul Sarpotdar, one of the leaders of the party also replied the same in front of the media.

Police is suspecting MNS, as the party threatened to take revenge for a comment passed by a religious chief against Raj Thackeray, the chief of the party. Kuldip Bhardway, the leader of Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Mahasangh had allegedly announced his decision of giving Rs 1 crore to any person who will slap Raj Thackeray.

In the mean time, Mumbai Police is closely inspecting a video footage to spot the culprits. The footage was captured at the time of the incident. No arrests were made till now.
