| New Delhi: Delhiites were today greeted by pleasant weather and a clear morning. Although it may get cloudy later in the day, the weather won't play spoilsport for the opening of the World Cup hockey event in the evening, the weatherman assured.
"During the day there will be mainly clear sky. It may get partly cloudy towards late afternoon. But that should clear out by evening and there will be no rain," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told media.
The minimum temperature recorded today morning was 16.6 degrees Celsius, five degrees above average for this time of the season.
IMD said the day will be warm and the maximum could touch 32 degrees Celsius.(IANS) |
