| New Delhi, May 30: Japan's Miho Kowase and China's Bowen Ouyang won the Asian Junior Tennis Championships in girls and boys section at the R.K. Khanna Stadium here today.
Ninth-seeded Kowase, who took out seventh seeded Indian Rishika Sunkara Saturday, avoided an all-Chinese sweep when she defeated second-seeded Ran Tian of China 6-1, 7-6(4).
In the all-Chinese boys' final, second-seeded Bowen Ouyang, like last week, outlasted top seed Chuhan Wang 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 in a thrilling clash.
It was a double delight for Ouyang who partnering compatriot Xin Gao also clinched the doubles trophy Saturday. (IANS) |
