| New Delhi, July 27: Holding that Hockey India is a private body, the Delhi High Court today asked the central government not to interfere in HI elections slated to be held on July 28.
The court also asked the government to withdraw its observer appointed to monitor the Hockey India elections.
It further ruled that the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) is the only recognised body for the sport in the country. (IANS) |
