Johannesburg, July 10: The World Cup football final between Spain and the Netherlands here on Sunday will be played in dry conditions, according to the latest forecast from the South African Weather Service.

The tournament's closing match kicks off at 1830 GMT at Soccer City here while the closing ceremony headed by Colombian singer Shakira begins two hours earlier.

Temperatures are predicted to reach a high of 19 degrees centigrade during the day but will drop significantly as the sun sets.

However, conditions are expected to be comfortable for both players and fans, unlike the group game between Brazil and North Korea, when temperatures plummeted to near zero. (IANS)
