Sangakkara, Jayawardene take Sri Lanka to 587/3

| Colombo, July 27: Skipper Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene took Sri Lanka to 587 for three in the first innings against India at tea on the second day of the second cricket Test here today.
Jayawardene was batting on 143 and Thilan Samareweera 52 when tea was called at the Sinhalese Sports Club. Sangakkara made 219. (IANS) |
