Mumbai, July 8: Calling an end to all the doubts regarding the resumption of cricket ties between India and Pakistan, ICC President Sharad Pawar stated that such ties between both countries are not possible.

Referring to this issue as a diplomatic one, Pawar added that the decision behind resuming Indo-Pak ties cannot be taken solely by the Cricket Boards. Including Indian government in the ambit of discussion, the ICC Chief made it clear that present scenario does not seem to favour ties between the two countries.

When replying to the media on the issue of proposed plan to introduce day-night Tests to save the longer format of the game, Pawar admitted that he has not heard about the issue. He left the entire responsibility on the experts for deciding on the issue.

Refuting the claim that ICC intends to shift its headquarters back to England, Pawar pointed out that there is very little that the headquarters of ICC will be established in England since ICC will have to pay 40 per cent taxes in the country.
