| Melbourne, July 10: Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris is in doubt for the team's tour to India in October because of a troublesome right knee.
Harris, who made his international debut last year, underwent surgery on his knee on Thursday after his return from the England tour.
"Ryan Harris underwent arthroscopic surgery in Melbourne to correct cartilage damage to his right knee," Cricket Australia Doctor Trefor James was quoted as saying in the media today.
"His progress will be monitored in the coming weeks to determine his availability for selection for the India tour in October."
Australia will play two Tests and three One-Day Internationals against India from Oct 2-24. (IANS) |
