New Delhi: India has won the toss and elected to bat in the third test against Australia at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Team India misses off-spinner Harbhajan Singh who has been dropped for the game due to his toe injury. Newcomer Amit Mishra who was earlier ruled out for the match giving place to skipper Anil Kumble, is now back in the side in place of Harbhanjan Singh
After the dismal performance in the Mohali test, Australia is likely to make some changes in the team. The visitors are under pressure and will look for a victory to level the series. However, it will be a special day for Australian opener Matthew Hayden who celebrates his birthday today. |
