Beware of your boyfriend: Women commission to girls

| Bhubaneswar, May 12: Stay cautious with your boyfriends! That's what the State Commission for Women (SCW) declared to all teenagers and college girls. The recent increase in cases of blackmailing and exploitation of young girls by their boyfriends has caused the women commission to issue such a warning.
SCW has planned to disseminate this message throughout Orissa to alert all young girls. Since the past few months, lots of girls have been victimized in cases like extortion, molestation, sexual assault etc. Most of these girls have committed suicide or is presently suffering from severe mental trauma.
There were cases in which girls entered into a relationship and later their boyfriends victimized them by blackmailing them, releasing their sex videos and pornographic pictures and others. SCW has however not asked girls never to enter into a love relationship but have advised them to remain aware! |
