| Meerut, July 3: Building pressure on the government to take a decision on their demands for reservation in government jobs a Jat group has threatened to disrupt the smooth proceedings of the forthcoming Commonwealth games in Delhi.
While talking to the media, Akhil Bhartiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti President Yashpal Malik made it clear that the group has enough power to block Delhi's water, electricity, oil and gas lines that pass through their fields. He even pointed out that Delhi's water crisis was a just a small example of how far they can go to see their demands getting fulfilled.
The group has given July 10 as the deadline to the government to take a decision over this issue.
Moreover, the Samiti plans to hold a press conference on July 12 and chalk out a fresh agitation if their demands are not met. |
