3-year-old Jalandhar girl to undergo heart surgery, father asks for help

Jalandhar, May 31: She is only three years old and she is already struggling to survive. Harshita, a Jalandhar girl, needs to undergo a critical heart surgery, which is possible only if her parents can arrange a hefty amount.

Harshita Luthra and her parents are in dire need of money as the toddler suffers from a serious heart problem, which cannot be cured in India. Her illness is taking a turn for the worse with every passing day. However, the girl is not aware of her deteriorating condition and continues to remain in a carefree mood.

Her father Amit Luthra, who is an employee in an insurance company, put his every asset at stake for his daughter's treatment and now he requires about seventy lakh rupees to get her treated in the US.

A vein that which sends back clean blood to the heart has never developed in Harshita and despite a frantic search for a proper hospital in India, her father has found none. The heart specialists have recommended immediate treatment in the US.

Amit requires monetary help in order to get near to the seventy lakh mark. He now asks people to contribute to this lump-sum requirement.
