East Coast Railway

East Coast Railway forms an integral part of the Indian Railways. It became fully operational from 1st April, 2003. In a very short span of time, East Coast Railway has made significant contributions to the revenue generated by Indian Railways. It is now counted as one of the most important part of the 16 Indian Railways zone.

Future prospects
