| New Delhi: Refusing to express her views on sugarcane price issue to public, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee today asserted that she will convey her party's stand only to the UPA and no one else outside.
While talking to the reporters, Banerjee stated that she herself is pro-farmer and so is her party. The Trinamool Congress chief further added that since she is with the UPA she will express her opinions in the UPA and not outside it.
When asked about the land acquisition Bill, she refused to make any comment maintain her stance of conveying her stand to the UPA.
She also avoided any further exchange on the question of MP Kabir Suman resigning from Trinamool Congress. Suman was absent in Parliament today.
Trinamool MP and Minister of State for Shipping Mukul Roy, however, assured that Suman will soon attend the session.
Interim, five newly elected Trinamool MLAs from Arunachal Pradesh met Banerjee today. |
