| Mumbai: The migrant labour issue in Mumbai is taking a heated turn as Shiv Sena once again took on the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh asking the party not to intervene in the affairs of Mumbai.
In a statement issued by Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray he has categorically stated that RSS should not interfere in Mumbai's affairs as it was Shiv Sena who saved Hindi people in Mumbai riots and not RSS. Uddhav further added that if RSS is so compassionate about Hindi then they should focus more on Assam and stop the ceaseless attacks hurled on the North Indians.
Uddhav was retorting to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's comment that Mumbai is for all Indians. The RSS party had also asserted that the party members would strive to stop the spreading of anti-Hindi feelings in the Maharashtra. Countering Bhagwat's remark, Shiv Sena leader came down heavily on RSS saying that Marathi people have been able to survive in Mumbai much because of the Shiv Sena's struggle. |
