PM to hold press conference on Monday on one year in office |

| New Delhi, May 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address a press conference in the capital on Monday to mark the completion of one year of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
The UPA government, in its second term, completed a year in office on Saturday. The prime minister's press conference will be relayed live by All India Radio and Doordarshan.
The government had planned a dinner at the Prime Minister's House for all parties in the Congress-led coalition and those providing it support from outside but the function was cancelled following the crash of an Air India Express plane in Mangalore on Saturday morning.
A report to the people on performance of the government in the past year was also scheduled to be released at the Saturday function. (IANS) |
