| New Delhi, May 11: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address a press conference on May 24 to mark the first anniversary of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government's second term.
Prime Minister's Media Advisor Harish Khare told IANS that the prime minister will interact with the media on May 24.
The UPA government is completing the first year in office of its second term May 22 and the government is also planning to bring out a "Report to the People" to mark the anniversary, as it had done during its first term.
Congress leaders said the party manifesto does not mention about bringing out such a report but added it was a "good tradition" which should be continued.
The report will list the accomplishments of the government in the past one year. (IANS) |
