No agreement on creating new states: PM |

| New Delhi, May 24: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said there was no agreement on creating new states in the country.
"There has been a demand for a separate Telangana. The matter has been referred to a committee under the chairmanship of a retired judge. The matter is pending, so I won't comment," he told a press conference to mark the first year of his government's second tenure. (IANS) |
