| New Delhi, July 29: The price rise issue created a storm in the Rajya Sabha for the third successive day today, forcing its adjournment till 12 noon.
The trouble erupted as soon as the house assembled at 11 a.m., with M. Venkaiah Naidu, S.S. Ahluwalia and other Bharatiya Janata Party members on their feet, demanding a discussion on the price rise.
Failing to restore order, Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the house till 12 noon.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was present in the house during the din. (IANS) |
