| New Delhi, April 28 : A day after BJP's ally JMM came out in support of the UPA government in Lok Sabha over the cut motions, its MP Hemant Soren today admitted that the voting happened by "mistake". He also made it clear that there was no move to form a government in Jharkhand with the support from Congress.
Hemant, who is also the son of Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, asserted that the voting was a sudden act of impulse and a human error. It clarified the fact that it all happened due to confusion during voting. JMM party leaders met BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday night and explained the actual position to him.
JMM's support to the UPA on the cut motions was a topic of discussion among the leaders and the sudden support had also sparked speculation. There were talks that JMM may opt for a change in its coalition partner and a new party ties may emerge with Congress' support. |
