Western Railway offers alternative to passengers stranded due to AI strike

| Mumbai, May 26: The Air India (AI) personnel strike regarding delay in salary payment has caused much inconvenience to the passengers since Tuesday. However, Western Railway has come to their rescue and will run the Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani train today especially for the fellow passengers, to enable them reach their destination.
The authorities of Western Railway have declared that although a single train has been launched especially today to minimize the inconvenience faced by the Air India passengers; they are ready to deploy more trains in the coming days, if necessary.
The train is scheduled to depart the Mumbai Central station at 22250 hrs and will arrive at Delhi station tomorrow at 1800 hrs. Arrangements have been made to provide airline like comfort and services to passengers who will be traveling in this special train. |
