| Mumbai, Jun 1: A renowned hospital in Mumbai is in bad shape since Monday morning after a short circuit caused a minor fire in the building. Power supply has not been restored yet in the Bombay Hospital even though more than 24 hours have passed.
This hospital's Intensive Care Units and 22 Operating Theatres are presently resorting to generators to keep the situation closer to normalcy.
Around 700 patients and their family members are more than distressed at such unexpected state of affairs.
The private hospital near Churchgate Station has four buildings and most of the elevators are not working. Forget about the air conditioners, even fans and lights are being used economically. |
