Result is out, contest is over and the most beautiful woman of the universe is Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza. She received the crown from Miss Universe-2007 Riyo Mori of Japan. Flawless in English, Spanish and Italian, Miss Amazonas in 2007 and now Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza is the fifth Venezuelan to win the coveted crown.
