Aamir Khan’s latest release Ghajijni is an awesome movie. Intelligent, violent, and packed with a freshness that Hindi cinema hasn't seen in a long time is what Ghajini offers. Aamir’s performance in the movie has proved that he is above all Khans in the industry. The plot of the movie is one of the most common in Indian Cinemas, that is, revenge; but the strength lies in the gripping screenplay. The director has succeeded to keep the suspense throughout the film.
Ghajini is a charming love story of a business tycoon Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan) and a struggling model Kalpana (beautifully played by Asin). Asin seems full of energy and the two make a real good pair. After being hit on the head, with a brutal head injury, business tycoon Sanjay Singhania suffers from short-term memory loss. He cannot recollect anything beyond 15 minutes. Entrapped in those 15 minutes is the loss of his love Kalpana, her killer and the reason for his condition. The only clue he has is the name that he remembers his dying girlfriend uttered in his ears - Ghajini (played by Pradeep Rawat). His daily routine depends on a bunch of photographs and series of reminders spread all over his house. In his quest to find the murderer Ghajini, he tattoos the clues and leads on his body that keep reminding him about his unfinished business. Sunita (Jia Khan) who is a medical student initially fears Sanjay but then having learnt the truth is set out to help him.
Ghajini is a must watch for an Aamir Khan fan and a fulltu paisa vasool movie for a Bollyowod buff.
