A striking title of the movie is itself a hint of what this comedy wants to evoke – how true love wins over every hurdles and drive away the discrepancies to make it a perfect match. This Indo-American production is a family comedy that aims at discovering every layer of human emotions, celebrating differences and laughing at the differing ideas of every individual. The film thrives on the story of two youngsters, who put all their effort to sound reconcilliation between their families and make them realise that they will willingly compromise with imperfections since they are in love.

A line of distinguished actors is expected to add the required flavour of perfection in the movie Perfect Mismatch. This hilarious flick will see the entry of the debut actor Anubhav Anand. Anubhav is a IT professional from IBM in real life, who presents himself as Aman in the movie, a gifted architect. He was brought up under the care of his dear uncle Mr.Bhalla (Anupam Kher). This ambitious guy was on his road to achieve his dream - having his own architecture firm.

The movie reaches an interesting phase when Aman meet slove of his life Neha (Nandana Sen). Aman becomes more than impressed to see this graceful and intelligent lass for the first time. The much needed conflict in the plot springs up when Neha's father Mr. Patel (Bomani Irani) meets with Aman's uncle and discovers that striking differences between their views. While Mr Bhalla is completely a round character indulging in all sorts of merriment, Mr. Patel turns out to be rigid and conventional and a complete misfit in the world of humour.

The stark mismatch between a fun-loving Mr Bhalla and a strict Mr Patel turns out to be the pivotal reason to speeden their relationship towards uncertainty. Their disapproval and mismatch were almost calling their relationship an end when the Aman and Neha pulled up their socks to find a way to settle things between their parents. The element of humour is hidden in the series of adventures, which both these faultfinding fathers undertake.

Debutant Anubhav Anand, the writer and producer of the film, feels that the USP of Perfect Mismatch is the coming together of two laudable actors Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Showering praise on his co-star Nandana Sen, Anubhav affirmed how she has contributed whole-heartedly in the movie and gone beyond just her character. He harps on the theme of real life Mismatches that makes relationships exciting. Planned in 2005, the movie is shot in less than a month in America. The two consecutive screenings of Perfect Mismatch in Cinequest Film Festival, California, and at the SAIFF, New York have already received accolades.

Anubhav must be counting on the viewer’s response to prove this comedy a successful venture. Come July 24 and we can see for ourselves whether 'Perfect Mismatch' is a match for the audiences' expectations.
