Imagine an international airport as a perfect turf for human emotions on display. A dainty look at it will introduce you to the people carrying their baggages of memories, problems and faltering animosities boarding their flights for yet another destination.
On one such occasion Raina, Samir and Akash meet each other at an international airport and witness their lives getting entangled with one another. At an important juncture of life they are compelled to make an important decision which will alter their lives forever.
On one hand we have Samir(Salman Khan) , traditional at heart and a chauvinist who dislikes his better half going to work for he firmly believes in a man being the main bread earner of the family. On other hand we have Raina(Kareena Kapoor), an orphan who craves for love and discovers it in Samir, despite the clash in the ideology. Romantic at heart, she feels that unconditional love and understanding are things which make life worth a ride.
Akash(Sohail Khan) is the third angle to the story who is flirtatious, funny and freedom lover. He falls in and out of love. But when his life collides with Raina, he knows that this time its not infatuation and he wants it forever.
Narrated against the setting of an international airport, these three people have to face their conflicting emotions and personal problems. If Samir has to take a stand on whether he should stay in the same city which blessed him with many beautiful memories yet snatched everything, or fly away to some other place, which means to start the life from the very beginning; Raina too has to weigh the love of her husband, who left her to chase his dreams against the faith in her new found buddy.

Akash, on the other hand has to decide whether his quest for getting a married woman, even by putting her marriage at stake, is justified. Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is about these three people who are trying hard to encounter and resolve their clashing ideas, emotions, relationships and dominant emotion – LOVE.
As for the musical tracks, they don't give a chance or whatsoever, to complain. Listening to the album, one doesn't find any single track which acts as an impediment in spoiling the romantic mood. Inclusion of 'Don't Say Alvida', 'Tum Ne Socha', 'Happening' in your i-pod is are highly recommended. While 'Don't Say Alvida' and 'Tum Ne Socha' are contemporary love tracks sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Niigam and Wajid, 'Happening' is a foot tapping qawalli, reprising the 'Kajra Re' mood.
After Vishal Bharadwaj, who used two RD-Asha Bhosle tracks 'Duniya mein logon ko' and 'Do labzon ki hai yeh dil ki kahani' in 'Kaminey', R.D.Burman's 'Bade achche lagte hain' makes an important appearance in the film set against the nostalgic theme Sohail and Kareena to beget a sense of intimacy between the two. A tribute to R.D. Burman, the song was sung by Amit Kumar in Shakti Samanta's Balika Badhu was chosen unanimously by the production unit.
Look forward to lot of romance, heart warming moments and fresh pairing of Kareena and Salman in Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna.
