After the success of ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’, director Sangeeth Sivan’s new venture Ek is expected to be a success at the box office. This adventure-packed movie is high on thrill element with the whole story revolving around Nandu, a fugitive who has been falsely accused of a politician’s murder. Bobby Deol plays the orphan turned assassin who is on the run to escape getting caught. While escaping on a train, Nandu meets Shekhar, who is returning home after fourteen long years. Nandu gets to know everything about Shekhar’s family.

In the mean time the police followed him close behind and Shekhar protected Nandu while police fired at him. Shekhar dies on the spot and Nandu goes to Shekhar’s village inform them about his death. Shekhar's family however mistakes Nandu for Shekhar and he becomes readily accepted as a part of the family. Shriya Saran, plays Preet, the daughter of Shekhar's grandfather's friend. She falls in love with Nandu. Nana Patekar is the CBI Inspector Rane who shoulders the onus of tracing the assassin and chases Nandu.

You have to watch the movie to find out if Nandu is able to emerge as the winner and how good he is at managing the crisis. The movie will also explore the final outcome of Nandu and Preet's love story and find the real killer. This Bollywood thriller is being compared to Ghajini by the director. According to Sangeeth Sivan, ‘Ek - The Power of One’ is a raw action movie with Bobby Deol performing some excellent stuns including jumping down 14 stories. Director is confident about the success of the movie and describes 'Ek' as a mixture of 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' and 'Die Hard'. He concludes the movie to be ‘a lethal mix of romance along with adrenalin rush’. Releasing on 27th March, the movie is expected to get the desired back-up from the music director Pritam Chakravorty and other members of the production unit.
