The title of Anurag Singh's upcoming directorial venture Dil Bole Hadippa reflects a lingering fun element throughout the movie. For the first time audience will see Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee duo sharing the screen together.
Rani Mukerji , who will essay the role of Veera Kaur, is lively and vivacious to the core. Her aspirations know no bounds since she dreams of making it big in the world of cricket although her real life actually hovers around her village and rural milieu. She works in a local theatre group and aspires to be in the same cricket team with Tendulkar and Dhoni.
Shahid Kapoor, who plays Rohan in the movie, is an established cricketer and a regular member in one of the English county cricket teams. As Rohan returns to India, he set himself to captain his father's cricket team that has been witnessing consecutive defeats for the last 8 years. If Rohan has the cricketing talent him, then Veera is no less passionate a cricketer either.
Her passion for the game is unfathomable as she goes to any extent to play cricket, be it wearing on a turban and beard to become a man. Her talent got noticed and she gained easy entry in Rohan's team. She attains a anew incarnation - Veer Pratap Singh

Pritam and and Julius Packiam have jointly directed the music of Dil Bole Hadippa and lyrics has been penned by Jaideep Sahni. Alisha Chinoy, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam and other noted singers have pulled up an interesting musical trail in the movie.
