If you think you have seen all the facets of actor Kamal Hassan, mistaken. Come 17th April and you will get to see as many as 10 new incarnations of this actor par-excellence. Dashavatar is his new gift to the Bollywood lovers, which is actually a dubbed version of the Tamil original Dashavataram. Directed by K.S. Ravi Kumar, the movie will explore Kamal Hassan’s potential to play multiple shades. Set on an impressive level, this multi-starrer film has also roped in actors like Asin, Mallika Sherawat, Jaya Pradha and Napolean.

Dashavatar covers a span of more than 1000 years coming back to the present time. With story and screenplay done by Kamal Hassan himself, the film aims to project the relevance and important message that lay behind the journey of Lord Vishnu through several incarnations. In his 9 years of experience in Bollywood, this is for the first time that Kamal Hassan will be seen portraying ten unique characters in the film. The actor, who is currently busy in making Tamil and a Telugu remake of Neeraj Pandey’s A Wednesday, has high hopes with his upcoming release.

The film Dashavatar will have some high-spirited action sequences, as audience love to see more from Kamal Hassan’s films. Music director Himesh Reshammiya has contributed a lot in creating the music required of the film. He has got due support from some of the noted singers in the industry like, Hariharan, Shaan, Mahalakshmi Iyer. A lot will depend on the cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran. Some parts of the movie depict 12th century India. The major attraction of the film Dashavatar is a created’ a tsunami. It is reported that 10 different special effects companies and 30 experts have worked together to bring out the best effects and give it a Hollywood finish. The film is also made live in animation version and that reflects its popularity.
