One came to the limelight after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and the other was a big hit with Kaminey. Director Ken Ghosh has roped in the pretty actress Genelia D'Souza and Shahid Kapoor for his latest venture 'Chance Pe Dance'. This musical film is a projection of a talented as well as a diligent young individual, who aspires to see himself as one of the noted actors of his time.
Shahid Kapoor plays Sameer, a passionate and struggling actor whose high spirits and optimism are peerless. The story is likely to revolve around Sameer's struggle to stardom and his rendezvous with Tina (Genelia D'Souza), a choreographer. The film is actually loosely based on the both Shahid and Genelia's real life struggle as both of them got the second chance in life.
Chance Pe Dance explores the continual effort of Sameer to fight against all odds and move ahead with his plan. He does thing which he hates to do. Twists and turns continue to pester Sameer till he finds a helping hand in Tina. She shows him a direction to move and streamline his efforts. The graceful and independent girl Tina is all for strict principles and acts as the powerhouse for Sameer. She is a refuge for Sameer and a constant source of motivation.
After Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Genelia will be seen donning a different character in Chance Pe Dance. It is to be seen how well she supports her co-star Shahid. Hopefully audience will get to see the continuation of passionate Shahid as Guddu and Charlie in Kaminey. Director Ken Ghosh is all praise for the film as he considers it to be a sweet and simple film with a “feel good” touch. He seems to count on the films excellent dancing extravaganza, good dialogues and real performances.
The music of Chance Pe Dance is a blend of highly energetic tracks and slow love songs. Pritam Chakraborty and Adnan Sami have composed some foot-tapping music, which is expected to be in sync with the dance performances. Expectations galore on the part of Shahid's fan and the audience will certainly be the judge to see how well the stars fare in this musical extravaganza.
