Anthony D'Souza's directorial venture Blue deals with a number of subjects intertwined together to bring out the real truth hidden under the garb of beauty and serenity. This much talked about thriller is set in the stunning white sand beaches of Bahamas, where blue water, white sand and sun produce a colourful milieu.
The movie revolves around four main characters Sagar (Sanjay Dutt), Aarav (Akshay Kumar), Sam (Zayed Khan) and Mona (Lara Dutta). Sagar is a skilled deep sea diver who nurtures a dream of owning a new boat one day. He has the sense of right and wrong and values honour more than greed. His friend Aarav is a rich businessman, who is inseparable from arrogance, greed and immorality.
Both the brothers have a tough task cut out before them to save their back. Apart from the duo, there was another person who was concerned about their future - Sagar's girlfriend Mona. She apprehends that the secret lying beneath the restless waters could bring a fatal end to their lives.
The plot journeys through a series of unexpected incidents as new episode unfold every time. This is expected to be a racy thriller with some never-seen-before underwater scene in Bollywood. The movie has already hit headlines with its exorbitant budget and that is not without any reason. Blue has roped in a team of best underwater technicians from across the world to produce the best scenes possible.
The movie does not run short of USP with the fact that Kylie Minogue featuring in much talked about Bollywood number. With A.R Rahman being the music director of Blue, you can look forward to listen to some catchy songs. A band of established singers like Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Shreya Ghosal, Udit Narayan, have contributed towards the musical scores of this movie.
Impressive star cast, use of top class technicians, a thrilling story and catchy music may prove to be a winning combination for Blue.
