Aa Dekhen Zara is a romantic thriller following the bollywood trend of fast-paced productions. Neil Nitin Mukesh, who was seen in two critically acclaimed movies Johnny Gaddaar and Tera Kya Hoga Johnny. In Aa Dekhen Zara, Neil plays Ray Acharya, a struggling photographer, for whom nothing is going right. He inherits a very ‘special’ camera from his grandfather that changes his life the he could have never imagined. It is the effect of the camera that completely alters Ray’s destiny and he becomes rich. It is during this upturn that he meets the love of his life, Simi (Bipasha Basu) who is an exciting DJ. She will be seen in her sizzling look we are used to see in her recent movies.

The happy incidents and prosperity is not long-lasting as danger soon follows him. The camera, which brought him the fame, also has the potential to cause harm. Now Ray faces the challenge to fight against the evil forces and also against fate. With questions being asked about the movie’s similarity with British movie "Freeze Frame" starring Lee Evans in a lead role, the actor defended that 'Aa Dekhen Zara' is an original film based on an original concept. He denied any imitative work and affirmed that not a single element in the film has been copied.

In Jehangir Surti’s "Aa Dekhen Zara" the movie narrates the story of a man who gets a camera that can tell the future. Though the theme may appear bit alien but this sci-fi movie is expected to survive the taste of the audience. Written by Sheershak Anand & Shantanu Ray, Aa Dekhen Zara saw the return of model turned actor Rahul Dev, who is given an important role in the movie that will give him some opportunity to prove his acting skill. He has worked really hard for this movie despite of going through a tragic personal life. His dedication is reflected through his commitment to shooting as he returned back to Bangkok in two days after paying a visit to his wife suffering from cancer. Produced under the banner of Eros Pictures, the movie will hopefully fare well in the box office as its release is due on 27th March.
