She’s been Miss India, a sports anchor and writer, and is also a designer
and trained singer. Well, we are talking of Nikita Anand, the one seen
playing role of a bubbly girl opposite Shreyas Talpade in ‘Dil Dosti Etc’.
This multi talented actress was recently in the capital to promote
spiritualism and Yoga. Headlines India reporter caught the actress
exclusively to know about her,bollywood experience, future projects and
much more. Following are the excerpts:

 How does Spiritualism happen to you? |
| NA: It happened naturally. I once happened to meet Yogi Ashwani ji, and from
him I got to know about 'Spiritual Healing'. I gained a lot about
Spiritualism and yoga from yogi ji and Dyan Foundation, which is helping me
in many ways.

| How you do take out time for 'Spiritualism' despite your busy schedule?
|
| NA: I am a fitness fetish and so I have enough time for something which I
really enjoy doing. Yoga and Spiritualism have many advantages and this
makes me find time to practice the same.
|
| Any suggestions to maintain a fit and healthy body?
|
| NA: Well one needs to exercise regularly and do yoga to maintain a fit and
healthy body. Size zero is a big No for me.
|
| How has been your journey between 2003 to 2008?
|
| NA: It has been a wonderful journey. I started modeling after finishing my
class 12. Soon I tried for the Miss India contest and won it. Post winning
the title there has always been new things to look forward to like ads and
films. I must say that these five years have been very special to me in many
ways.

| How was your experience in your debut film 'Dil Dosti Etc'?
|
| NA: It was my first film so naturally I was quite skeptical. I got explored
technically and end up learning a lot.

| Are we going to see you more often playing bold roles?
|
| NA: It’s not like that. 'Dil Dosti Etc' was a realistic film and the script
demanded the bold role. It generally depends upon one to another project.

| Are you going to stick to realistic films?
|
| NA: No, I will move to commercial films as well. And, if some interesting
realistic project comes up then I will definitely take it up.
|
| What’s your take on reality shows? Are we going to see Nikita
participating in any reality show like other actors?
|
| NA: Well, I am not participating in any of the reality shows. I am least
interested to be a part of such shows.
|
| Tell us about your upcoming projects?
|
| NA: I have two films in my kitty. One is 'Monopoly' and the other is 'Ek
Second - Jo Zindagi Badal De'. Both the films are in their post production
and are commercial films.
