| With just a day to go before the New Year dawns in, people have already started predicting the year ahead. The Twitter users have been tweeting their predictions for the year 2010 and their predictions are a blend of hope and fervent expectations.
Bidding adieu to the bygone days of 2009, the Twitterers seem all geared up to predict what the New Year has in store for them. The Twitter community, all aware of the upcoming environmental hazards, predicted a difficult future. One of the 2010 predictions suggest people will suffer from upcoming global warming.
Element of humour was as usual very much there in the Twitter verse as some witty predictions were witnessed. If one predicts "guys r gonna be faithful", the other tweets, "if u've been a bird, liar, pretender, fake, phony, etc...u will always be." One of the tweeple forecast "Michael Jackson will be reincarnated as a white woman".
The witty predictions did not end here as someone suggested, "love will find me {I pray 4 the both of us}". A more blatant prediction goes like this, "you are who you are. that won't change". Even celebrities were not spared in this witty exchanges as one of the tweeple went on to say that "more great people will die. Obama perhaps?" Another one had something to predict about the legendary pop star as the tweet stated, "Michael Jackson will be reincarnated as a white woman."
Some futuristic tweets were also evident with one of the Tweeple predicting, "we'll have flying cars....and robots....and metal suits....and we all talk in autotune. Another tweet predicted "we will discover a distant planet full of avatars". A quite unique forecasting, which actually revealed what we all must be having on our mind, is "Twitter Need to Upgrade to 520 Characters!" |
