| Twitter fraternity has once again gone berserk and this time they have been highly pro-active in bringing the very flavour of India to this popular social networking site. Churning out Awesome Indian Things (#AwesomeIndianThings) as a hot topic of discussion the Indian tweeples came together to blurt out whatever they considered as unique to Indians.
It was a united effort from the twitterers that made #AwesomeIndianThings No. 1 trending topic on twitter worldwide. Innovative responses from the tweeples flooded the timeline as more than 300 tweets were registered with every passing minute. The discussion went on to attract others making it a successful activity.
When it comes to expressing their ideas about awesome Indian things the twitteratti came up in support of the film celebrities with some tweeting the names of the actors like Rajnikanth, Hrithik, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya. Even the commonalities found their place in the unending list of awesome things, which include "Saas bahu sagas", "massage at Juhu beach" and "shaadi baraats, bhangra".
The witty responses were worth noting as some of the tweeples poured out their observations as awesome things we get to see in India. If one opted "the threat of bollywood song and dance even if someone is dying" as one of the awesome things, another considered "Cattle and Ferrari on the same road!" as very much Indian in spirit.
The cosmopolitan milieu was not to be missed in the process as some preferred a gorkha saying "uuhh Shaab jee" and some liked "Punjab di kudi aur lassi". Even "Hyderabadi Biryani" is not to be left alone. |
