| Washington: Popular social networking site Facebook has decided to block a website called "Web 2.0 Suicide Machine", which is known for helping the users delete their social network profiles.
Considered as the number one social networking site, Facebook stated that it has already sent a "cease-and-desist" letter to another website, Seppukoo.com. This website helps the users to destroy their virtual identity.
According to the reports, The Web 2.0 Suicide Machine site featuring a hangman's noose on its homepage, deletes profiles, friends and other information on Facebook. The site also removes the users' information on Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace.
The Facebook spokesperson stated that this machine allows the users to delete all their social-networking profiles, delete their fake virtual friends. |
