| New Delhi, May 31: Around 25,000 netizens have planned to quit using the popular social networking site Facebook today. This is a mark of their protest against the website administrators who have neglected users' privacy and have not disclosed their privacy regulations.
Although Facebook presently has more than 450 million users worldwide, the tiny user population of 25,000 leaving Facebook doesn't make a significant impact on the popularity of the website. But since the last few weeks, the 'Quit Facebook Forum' has become a matter of gossip amongst users.
However, the movement of quitting Facebook has not gained so much popularity in India. Most of the users here have shown their aversion towards closing their accounts in this social networking website. Facebook has recognized its loopholes regarding its privacy issues and has declared to revamp the faults from the next month onwards. |
