Rathore refused from lodging complaints against assaulter

New Delhi: Former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, the person convicted in the Ruchika molestation case, refused from pressing any charges against the assaulter who stabbed him outside a Chandigarh court on Monday.

Utsav Sharma, the 29 yr old student stabbed 3 times on the face of Rathore while he was coming outside of the court yesterday. Police said that Sharma a film student from Ahmedabad, has been staying in Panchkula (Haryana) since January.

Rathore was admitted to the hospital immediately after the attack, but he returned to the court afterwards. The police have however filed an FIR against the attacker.
