Chavan welcomes Kasab verdict

| Mumbai, May 6: Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan today welcomed the death sentence given to Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone gunman captured alive during the Mumbai terror attack.
"This was expected. I congratulate the police and the justice dispensing system," he said. "Pakistan should cooperate with India on the issue of terrorism. I express the hope they will do so."
