| New Delhi, June 9: The Supreme Court today issued notice in the 2006 murder of Maharashtra Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar on a CBI petition challenging a high court order granting bail to main accused Mohan Anant Shukla, who was then a civic official.
Shukla, a corporator from Dombivli, was arrested by the special crime cell of the Central Bureau of Investigation last year for alleged involvement in the murder of Nimbalkar, who was shot in Navi Mumbai on June 3, 2006.
He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on March 4 this year. (IANS) |
