Washington, Aug 19: US are trying to address India's concerns after it stated that it would take the matter of visa fee hike to the World Trade Organization. US officers have stated that they are in touch with the Indian government and they are making their best efforts to reconcile with them.

They have accepted that India's concerns regarding the matter are commonly known but have also said that they do not know that India is taking the issue to the WTO. Meanwhile the bill has already been made into a law with the signature of Barack Obama.

This bill would be in effect for five years to come and would mostly be affecting the Indian IT enterprises. Business houses in India and US have said that the bill is discriminatory. They have also said that this would affect the economic relations between India and US.
